Bharat is an upcoming Native American Hindi drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced jointly by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. The movie stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Disha Patani, with Varun Dhawan in a cameo look. The main photography started in June 2018, and Bharat is scheduled for a theater release on June 5, 2019, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. This is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to my father.

Bharat began its main photo at the end of June 2018 and it will be recorded at various locations including Abu Dhabi, Spain, Malta, Punjab and Delhi. Priyanka Chopra, who was cast as one of the leading ladies, played the film day before the film of his scenes. Nikhil Namit, CEO of Reel Life Productions, said that Priyanka stopped because of her involvement with Nick Jonas. She was later replaced by Katrina Kaif.

Another teaser of the film was released on January 25, 2019. The 1-minute 28-second teaser emphasized several looks announced by Salman Khan, including a naval officer, a miner, an oldman and a circus stuntman. Within 24 hours there was a lot of footage on Indian film teaser on YouTube, with more than 21.7 million views.
